A New Grumpy’s Restaurant for Fleming Island
The upcoming Fleming Island restaurant will be located at 1803 East West Parkway and will bring the same made-to-order menu and welcoming diner atmosphere that guests have come to expect from Grumpy’s.
The restaurant will feature approximately 130 seats and will include several family-friendly amenities designed to enhance the guest experience.
Highlights planned for the new location include:
• Scratch-made breakfast, brunch, and lunch favorites
• A private dining room for gatherings and events
• A game area designed for families with children
• A full-service bar
• Daily operating hours from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Construction and renovation work are underway, with the goal of opening later this year.

The Fleming Island restaurant will be owned and operated by the Hoard family, longtime Grumpy’s franchise partners and operators of the successful Middleburg location.
The Hoard family opened the Middleburg restaurant in 2020 as the first Grumpy’s franchise location. After a devastating fire in 2022, the restaurant was rebuilt and reopened in early 2023 with strong support from the community.
Their dedication and leadership have helped make the Middleburg restaurant one of the brand’s most respected locations.

Grumpy’s Restaurant began in Orange Park, Florida, and has grown steadily across the Jacksonville region while staying true to its diner roots.
